Raw Vegan Chocolate Raspberry Green Smoothie

Ingredients

2 cups chopped romaine lettuce
2 cups fresh or frozen raspberries
2 cups ice (if using fresh fruit)
1 cup filtered water or raw coconut water
¼ cup raw cashews
¼ cup chopped pitted dates or more to taste
1 scoop of Sprout Living Epic Chocolate Maca Powder or raw cacao powder
1 tsp non alcoholic vanilla extract
pinch of dried red chilli pepper flakes (optional)
pinch of Celtic sea salt

Directions
1. Place all the ingredients in your blender (I use a Vitamix) and puree until smooth and creamy.
2. Tweak flavours to taste – you might want to add dates or stevia to heighten the flavour depending on the ripeness of your fruit.
3. Makes just over one 8-ounce glass. YUMMO!
